I have practiced in the field of intellectual property law and litigation since 1976. My primary areas of concentration are copyright, trademark, and Internet law, as well as publishing law, trade secret law, software licensing, and other matters relating to the high-tech and information industry. My practice involves issues relating to the ownership, licensing, protection and infringement of intellectual property rights. I have experience not only in counseling and litigation in these areas, but also in arbitration and mediation. I also teach Copyright Law in the LL.M. program at John Marshall Law School in Chicago. I have served as an expert witness in copyright cases.
