Substantial experience in supervisory training, including: improving effective and lawful communications in union organizing drives; strategic planning when facing a labor dispute. Assisted businesses in labor negotiations with SEIU, USW, UFCW, UMWA and Teamsters. Experienced in employment law issues, including: drug testing, non-compete litigation, discrimination claims, investigations; MSHA 110(c) & 105 cases; whistleblower; and management training on employment laws. Handled several jury trials representing employers as defendants and businesses in lost profit claims. Experienced in drafting legislation and assisting state chamber of commerce.
