Janelle Carney

I am the Managing Shareholder for the Spokane and Tri-Cities offices of GLP Attorneys. I have a background in insurance, and it was this experience that led me to realize that representing plaintiffs was my true passion. I advocate for those that need me. I pride myself on my compassion and commitment to my clients. I focus my law practice on all aspects of personal injury law, including wrongful death claims, premises liability cases, fire cases, and insurance bad faith law all over Washington. I take complicated cases, that other attorneys refuse to take and will fight on all cases until the end. I enjoy being in the courtroom. It is justice for the underdog that is my calling. I am passionate about insurance bad faith law and doing everything I can to make sure insurance companies do the right thing. I am a common presenter on the topic of insurance law throughout the State of Washington. I have been consistently awarded as one of Spokane/Coeur D’Alene’s Top Lawyers from 2014 to present. I have been awarded the Rising Star Super Lawyers Award for 8 years, which is awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Washington. I have also been awarded the Superlawyers award for the past 3. I was welcomed into the National Top 100 Trial Lawyers Award, an award for a select few in the United States and am a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Form as well as the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, of which fewer than 1% of U.S. Lawyers are members. However, while I appreciate the accolades, it is always my client's gratitude for a job well done that I strive for. I am a co-founder of LadyBoss, a professional group dedicated to the advancement and support of women in the Spokane and Coeur D'Alene area. I love being a leader, and truly believe that any success that I have is because of those who support our cause, and work at GLP Attorneys. Our Spokane office has received the honor of winning the Spokane Journal of Business’s Best Place to Work award for the Inland Northwest region for three years in a row. This is an amazing accomplishment, and truly believe that GLP is the best place to work.
