About Peter Pentony
I concentrate my legal practice on helping people get fair compensation for injuries and deaths caused by car and tractor trailer crashes, falls, serious workplace safety violations, drunk drivers and other criminals, and unsafe products. After graduation from law school, I returned to Jefferson County, West Virginia, where I grew up and where my family ties go back generations. I continue to handle cases in West Virginia, and have expanded my personal injury and medical malpractice work into Virginia as well. I have over twenty-five years of civil litigation experience, including injury and wrongful death, insurance law, environmental contamination, real estate litigation, and serious workplace injury. I also have substantial experience with complex, multi-defendant cases. I’m always happy to discuss local issues with lawyers from out of town, and help out here when needed. I am admitted to practice in Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland, as well as the United States Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and am a member of groups like the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the West Virginia Association for Justice, which are dedicated to protecting individual rights.
