Since establishing my firm in 2005, I have been blessed with great location, fine staff and interesting clients. I've been able to help people with with life crises ranging from divorce to having been charged with a felony to needing to file a mechanics lien. I started my law practice in Virginia as an associate Commonwealth's Attorney in Chesapeake, which gave me the opportunity to try lots of cases, particularly in Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court. Should it prove that litigation is the only answer to a problem, I am quite comfortable in that arena, but I also encourage people who can to try negotiation, which can produce a satisfactory resolution and which often tends to be more cost-effective as well. (It is unfortunate but true that the legal pursuit of justice, however one might define it in a particular instance, is not inexpensive and often a cost-benefit analysis is required.)
