I successfully built my litigation/legal practice over the past 25 years by providing my clients with something not many attorneys can bring to the table – experience working for the other side. I know the defense playbook because for years it was my playbook. I began my legal career as a defense attorney for auto insurance carriers, and in sum, I litigated personal injury cases as defense counsel for more than 8 years of my career, including years as staff counsel for Progressive Insurance. However, when I made the switch to doing meaningful work for the victim, I found my true passion fulfilled. Helping people with their legal problems is why I had gone to law school in the first place, and now I am able to truly help by not just litigating but also educating my clients on how to avoid the pitfalls and problems that can devastate an otherwise valid claim. I have successfully taken cases to trial while also resolving cases by settlement negotiations and mediations. In 2021, I decided to open Jennifer Porter Law, PLLC, in order to serve my clients with true, authentic care. My clients know that I am invested in their case and their story and that I work hard to get them the best results possible.
