About Todd Leeson
For over 35 years, I have successfully represented Virginia businesses in employment and labor law matters and litigation. I defend companies as to employment litigation filed in Virginia federal and state courts, as well as employment claims before agencies including the EEOC, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), DOL and OSHA (whistleblower claims). I also regularly advise employers on employment-related issues such as discipline, terminations, personnel policies, leave and attendance challenges, and layoffs. I have successfully defended companies (and their executives) in cases involving alleged violations of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, and the NLRA, as well as various whistleblower or retaliation claims. I also regularly draft, enforce, and/or litigate non-compete agreements or executive employment contracts. In addition, I have considerable experience representing management in labor union matters including union avoidance campaigns, unfair labor practice charges, and labor arbitrations.
