About Rebecca Okura
Litigated family law cases from 2000 to 2018. Started mediating cases in 2009 and act as a Utah court-rostered Master Mediator. Created own law firm in 2004 and is still the Managing Attorney of Long Okura, PC, overseeing all other litigation teams in the firm, mediating, and acting as counsel for dozens of business in Utah. In 2020, became a Zen teacher in the Lost Coin Zen line of the White Plum lineage. In addition to teaching within the Lost Coin sangha, also works very closely with numerous individuals who do not formally practice Zen but who have asked for personal life coaching with a Zen-based approach. wucoach.comHas spent years collecting rare and antiquarian books with a particular interest in Latin & English histories and classics predating 1900 and Chinese-English translations predating the Cultural Revolution. Started a book dealership in 2021. In 2025, founded the nonprofit Old Truths Private Library and Reading Room.
