Michael Reed

Attorney Michael J. Reed is an accomplished and compassionate lawyer and an associate at Watton Law Group. Inspired by a passion for helping others solve complex problems, he was drawn to bankruptcy law. At the firm, he strives to help his clients navigate challenging financial situations and provide them with the information they need to make empowered decisions about their futures. Attorney Reed grew up in Idaho, where he spent summers working on his grandfather’s farm. During this time, he was instilled with the value of hard work, something he still draws on to this day. In his practice, Attorney Reed leaves no stone unturned in his pursuit of legal solutions for his clients. He works directly with those he serves, providing honest, reliable, and clear communication to help ensure that they fully understand their legal rights and options. Because no two cases are exactly alike, Attorney Reed makes it his mission to sit down with each client and listen to their stories, learn about their challenges, and go over their concerns in detail with them. Using this information, he develops creative and innovative strategies tailored to each individual’s situation. Even in the most complex of cases, Attorney Reed believes that there is always a solution; his goal is to help his clients see a way out and a path forward. After earning his B.S. in economics from Brigham Young University in Idaho, Attorney Reed went on to obtain his law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He then received his MBA from Utah State University. He is currently admitted to practice in the state courts in Utah, as well as the federal courts for the District of Utah and Colorado. Attorney Reed is married to his wonderful wife, who is a realtor, and has two sons.
