As the founding Global CEO of Dentons, I proudly helped create and led the world's largest global law firm, serving global and local clients with an unmatched footprint spanning over 80 countries and over 170 locations with more than 13,000 lawyers and professionals. In less than a decade, Dentons became one of the most globally recognized and highly rated professional services and legal brands through the value it delivers to clients across the world. I helped lead over 60 law and professional services firm M&A transactions, reshaping the global legal services landscape. I have expertise in all major advanced economies and in developing markets as diverse as China, India, Korea, Russia, Taiwan, Ukraine and Venezuela, and across Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. I have been an active member of multiple nonprofit boards, including Catalyst, a global nonprofit focused on women's workplace advancement; Syracuse University's Board of Trustees; and Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN), an organization I founded over 35 years ago that provides sports opportunities for children and young adults with severe and profound disabilities in the UK and the US that has trained nearly 100,000 volunteers. Since transitioning to emeritus status, I have been advising private equity firms and other strategic investors as they pursue compelling opportunities in the professional services, legal and technology sectors.
