About Nate Runyan
Nate Runyan is a partner at Holland & Hart LLP in Salt Lake City, where his practice focuses on state and local taxation, government relations, administrative law, and commercial litigation. He works closely with Steve Young and other colleagues on complex state and local tax matters, representing a diverse client base that includes nationally recognized corporations, regional businesses, and individual clients. Nate also assists clients with tax incentive agreements.Nate earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the Marriott School of Management and his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, graduating magna cum laude in both programs.Prior to attending law school, he served as a senior auditor in the Auditing Division of the Utah State Tax Commission, where he was recognized as Employee of the Year in 2007.Nate is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Utah, as well as in the state of New Mexico.
