Over 25 years of litigation and trial experience specializing in the representation of employees and small employers in both the public and private sectors. Trial experience includes trials of cases involving many civil rights and labor laws, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Sarbanes Oxley, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the United States Constitution. Additional litigation experience on behalf of employees who have lost their jobs as a result of mass layoffs and plant closings in violation of the WARN Act. Other specialties include USERRA litigation on behalf of military reservists and severance negotiation and litigation. I also have extensive experience representing clients in mediation and am a certified mediator, registered with the State of Georgia.
