Natanya Brooks

I learned early that discipline and grit could open doors. As a Division I swimmer at Georgia Tech and a school record holder, my life revolved around focus, performance, and resilience—qualities that continue to shape my approach to the law and leadership. After college, I explored different paths from coaching athletes to navigating life alongside my husband during his NFL career. Along the way, I saw how much was at stake when people lacked the right advocate. That realization ultimately led me to law school and to the courtroom, a place that felt both familiar and purposeful. I began my career in civil defense, representing large corporations in complex litigation. But over time, I felt the pull toward something more personal, more impactful. My own medical crisis during pregnancy made it clear: people need someone in their corner when life turns upside down. I wanted to be that person. That clarity led to the founding of Brooks Law Partners, a civil litigation firm driven by elite-level legal strategy and rooted in empathy. Today, our team of nearly 30 legal professionals, including multiple partner-level attorneys, handles high-stakes matters in wrongful death, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and appellate advocacy. We also regularly serve as trial co-counsel and mediators for other firms. We built this firm around a singular mission: to deliver exceptional legal outcomes while staying grounded in integrity, empathy, and client care. Whether I’m in the courtroom, at the Capitol, or mentoring young attorneys, I lead with the same principles I learned in the pool: show up, do the work, and fight like it matters because it does.
