About Keith Evra
Keith was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2006. After college, Keith returned home and continued his education at Georgia State University College of Law where he obtained his law degree in 2010. During school in both Athens and Atlanta, he gained valuable experience with several prestigious internships, including the Athens-Clarke County Public Defender Office, Office of the Georgia Capital Defender, and DeKalb County Public Defender Office. Once he became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 2010, Keith devoted his first five years of practice at a boutique firm representing clients often charged with very serious offenses. Some of those cases eventually evolved into major civil cases recovering large settlements on behalf of those who were innocently accused of crimes they did not commit. With this same passion, Keith joined The Stoddard Firm in order to continue that battle exclusively by recovering damages on behalf of those that are wronged by others. Keith is admitted to practice in all state of Georgia Courts, including the Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. In addition, he is admitted to practice in the federal jurisdictions of the Northern District and Middle District of Georgia. Over his career, Keith has proudly represented veterans, doctors, best-selling authors, students, police officers, and judges in many aspects of the law. Keith is a firm believer in this philosophy instilled in him by his parents: “Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.” Keith is determined and has a vested interest in making sure bad people and companies are held accountable to the citizens of Georgia when they knowingly make terrible choices that hurt our own. In his pursuit of justice for those who have been wronged, Keith has helped recover millions of dollars for his clients. Keith is currently with the Stoddard Firm where he specializes in litigation on behalf of those who have suffered catastrophic injuries. Frequently, these claims include wrongful death where Keith represents the family members of loved ones who were tragically killed due to the failure of a premises owner to provide reasonable and appropriate security for their tenants and guests in face of past crime. Keith also devotes a large portion of his practice to individuals who suffer unnecessary injury as a result of defective products, negligently maintained property, and careless drivers.
