About Tunde Akinyele
Tunde is the Chief Municipal Court Judge in the City of Lithonia. He is also a Designated Judge in DeKalb County State Court, where he presides over criminal and civil trials. He has also served as a judge in the City of Chamblee and a hearing officer in the City of Clarkston. He served 10 years as an Assistant District Attorney in DeKalb County, and prior to that was an Assistant Solicitor-General. Tunde is also the owner of a private practice law firm in Decatur. He is a graduate of Georgia State University College of Law, Mercer University Stetson School of Business and Economics, and the University of South Carolina. Tunde is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of French.
