About La'Vonda McLean
As a seasoned business leader, licensed attorney, and risk advisor, I am dedicated to delivering innovative, tailored solutions that address the complex and evolving risks faced by corporations, executives, and boards. Currently, I serve as a Client Executive. I work with clients by coordinating Marsh's extensive network of industry-specific and product-specific specialists to craft strategies that align with each client’s unique needs. I work closely with clients to establish both short- and long-term strategic goals, acting as their primary point of contact for comprehensive account management.Building on my deep expertise in the financial and professional insurance space, I previously oversaw Marsh’s U.S. Employment Practices Liability (EPL) and Wage & Hour (W&H) product practice. In that role, I provided thought leadership, monitored legal and regulatory trends, and developed content to keep clients and internal teams informed. My background as a licensed attorney with experience in labor and employment law, combined with my role as a senior client advisor and product leader within Marsh’s FINPRO practice, enables me to deliver strategic risk advisory services across a broad spectrum of financial lines, including directors & officers (D&O), crime, fiduciary liability, and executive risk.Throughout my career, I have been passionate about fostering innovation and collaboration—whether through developing bespoke policy language, analyzing market trends, or delivering impactful thought leadership. My mission is to help organizations navigate the complexities of today’s risk landscape with confidence and clarity.
