About Tanya Tate
I have been mediating and arbitrating cases for thirteen years, having mediated over 1000 cases, primarily in the areas of employment law, complex commercial/business litigation cases (including cases involving business dissolution, restrictive covenants, trade secret and confidential information misappropriation and breaches of contracts/franchise agreements), insurance coverage, business torts, school and municipality issues, premise liability and personal injury cases. I serve on both the mediator and arbitrator panels at Miles Mediation (www.milesadr.com), as well as on the Employment and Commercial arbitration panels with the American Arbitration Association. I am also a proud member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. Prior to starting my mediation practice I litigated for twenty years in these same areas of law, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants. Outside of my mediation practice, I conduct executive and management training (primarily diversity and sensitivity training) to employees companies of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, as well as conduct independent workplace investigations.
