About Roger Sumrall
A founding partner of Bendin Sumrall & Ladner, LLC, Roger has tried in excess of eighty cases. As leader of the firm’s construction, environmental, and trucking practices, Roger specializes in the defense of construction defect claims and claims involving mold toxicity, sedimentation, and release of toxic substances. He has handled a wide variety of cases involving building structure defects, sedimentation and erosion, moisture intrusion, toxic exposure, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Roger also focuses his practice on the defense of physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice litigation. In addition to his trial practice, Roger is an active lecturer for continuing education seminars for both attorneys and claims personnel. Outside of his law practice, Roger is an avid hiker, having completed over 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail. He also plays violin with the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra.
