I am a founding attorney of Yan Kenyon and have dedicated my legal career to representing individuals who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of others. With more than two decades of litigation experience, I focus exclusively on personal injury and insurance coverage law, helping clients navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives while pursuing the compensation they are entitled to.I am licensed to practice in both California and Nevada and hold Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® Preeminent™ rating, reflecting the highest peer recognition for legal ability and ethical standards. I also serve on the State Bar of Nevada Board of Personal Injury Specialization and have been appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court to its attorney panel of arbitrators.I handle a wide range of personal injury cases, including car and truck accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, spinal cord and burn injuries, negligent security, product liability, animal attacks, and cases involving children. I have successfully tried numerous jury cases and secured meaningful recoveries for clients in complex matters.My legal career began in Las Vegas in 1997 as an insurance defense attorney, where I gained valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims. In 2004, I transitioned to representing injured plaintiffs exclusively—a perspective that continues to benefit my clients today. I later founded Yan Kenyon with a simple mission: to provide skilled, compassionate advocacy for people whose lives have been changed by serious injuries.Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Kansas with degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies before earning my Juris Doctor, with Distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law.
