For decades, Marquis Aurbach Coffing has provided prompt, professional and personal service for its clients. I have tried jury and bench trials in both Federal and State courts, ranging from constitutional violations, labor and employment matters, business disputes and breach of contract claims. Additionally, I routinely provide advice to clients regarding labor and employment matters, including advice on workplace harassment, discrimination and violence policies, labor relations, as well as discipline and discharge matters. Specialties: I primarily practice in labor and employment law, representing municipalities in labor arbitrations, federal and state courts, and before government commissions. Additionally, I represent employers in wage and hour, discrimination and unemployment compensation matters. I also practice in civil rights litigation, defending law enforcement agencies and officers in civil actions brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983, First, Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment claims, and state law claims for false arrest and false imprisonment. I also serve as a mediator and arbitrator for labor disputes.
