I am a 1999 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and received a Juris Doctorate degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2003. I was admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. I have extensive experience in the areas of construction law, construction defect, property damage, individual and institutional professional liability defense, including medical, healthcare and dental malpractice, employment law, premises liability, and complex personal injury litigation on the trial and appellate levels. Martindale Hubbell has rated me AV Preeminent, which is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards, and Hofstra University School of Law awarded me the Outstanding Women in Law Award in 2016. I am a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. My specific achievements include the following: Evaluator: Hofstra University School of Law, Moot Court Competition; Recipient of the First Annual Outstanding Women in Law 2016 Award offered by the Hofstra University School of Law, Center for Children, Families, and the Law; Attained Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards; Named to 2016 and 2017 Super Lawyers New York Metro Rising Stars Lists; Named to Super Lawyers 2018 New York Metro Top Women Attorneys List.
