About Lee Rosenberg
LEE ROSENBERG is founder/principal at Rosenberg Family Law PC after having been a founder at Saltzman Chetkof & Rosenberg LLP in Garden City, NY. A fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, he has been a National Vice President of that organization and is a member of the AAML New York Chapter Board of Managers. He is a past Chair of the Nassau Bar Association Matrimonial Law Committee and the NCBA Grievance Committee, Lee is a litigator of over 20 years with experience in all phases of matrimonial and family law practice. His practice includes the trial of complex custody, support and equitable distribution matters. He is also experienced in the drafting of intricate prenuptial and settlement agreements. In addition to his litigation skills, Lee is trained in collaborative law and as a divorce mediator. He continues to be peer-review selected to "Best Lawyers in America"​ and "New York Super Lawyers"​ in Family Law. He was selected "Best Lawyers in Americas" Family Lawyer of the Year in 2022 for the Long Island New York area. He is a past member of the NY State Office of Court Administration's Matrimonial Practice Advisory Committee. Lee is Editor-In-Chief of the NY State Bar Association Family Law Section's "Family Law Review"​. His accomplishments as Chair of the Nassau Bar's Matrimonial Law Committee have included the passage of a resolution calling for support of the "Marriage Equality Act"​ which enabled same-gender couples to marry in New York. He is also a member of the Uniform Law Commission, Judicial Interview Procedures for Children Act Drafting Committee. Lee is a sought-after lecturer and frequently published author. He has lectured for many organizations including the NY State Bar Association, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the New York State Judicial Institute, and others His articles on various issues in matrimonial law have appeared in the NY Law Journal, Family Law Review, the NYS Bar Association Journal, Nassau Lawyer, The Matrimonial Strategist, and NY Family Law Monthly, among others, and have been cited by New York's trial and appellate courts. He has been Editor of the Nassau County Bar's "Recent Decisions in Matrimonial Law"​. He was a member of the Board of Editors of the NY Family Law Monthly. He was General Editor of LexisNexis'​ NY Family/Matrimonial Practice Insights and authored most of those Insights as well as having authored the Filing and Drafting Tips for Lexis Nexis' NY Family Law Forms.
