I have enjoyed helping individuals and businesses attain these goals for 49 years. A careful Bankruptcy Attorney must identify risk factors which might render a bankruptcy filing the worst possible decision. My extensive experience enables me to identify potential risks, and plan around them, using non-bankruptcy tools when more appropriate. Having passed my certification exams in 1993 for both Consumer Bankruptcy and Business Bankruptcy, I continue to annually maintain my credentials by attending extensive, bankruptcy-specific, continuing legal education, I have served three two-year terms on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Certification, which certifies bankruptcy experts. My highly experienced and compassionate staff helps me use Chapter 7 bankruptcy to eliminate credit card debt, income taxes over 3 years old, repossession deficiencies, business loans, mortgage foreclosure deficiencies, medical debt and other unsecured debt. Chapter 7 can also be used to eliminate judgment liens on real estate, which are preventing mortgage modifications or short sales. We use Chapter 13 to cure mortgage arrears, eliminate certain 2nd mortgages, pay recent income taxes, and sales and payroll taxes or credit card balances over 5 years without interest. I have also developed a unique and highly effective non-bankruptcy debt-settlement program used by many professionals. I pride myself on providing compassionate, customized, and high-quality service to every client, and structuring a payment plan unique to each client's individual financial picture.
