About Kurt Saccone
Mr. Saccone began his legal career in 1993 at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC where he was trained in and began practicing U.S. immigration law. He was first an Attorney Advisor in the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Mr. Saccone then became an Assistant District Counsel with the Immigration and Naturalization Service, first in New York City and later in Philadelphia. Mr. Saccone prosecuted immigration cases for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Immigration Court, in addition to advising enforcement operations on legal issues. In the New York City office he was also designated the lead civil document fraud attorney; in the Philadelphia office his responsibilities included handling special interest cases. Mr. Saccone was a two-time selectee of the Attorney General’s Honor Program, and a recipient of the Attorney General’s Award for Outstanding Achievement. Mr. Saccone left government service in 1999 and became the founding partner of Saccone & Dobosiewicz LLP. Saccone & Dobosiewicz LLP is a full service immigration law firm with offices in Tacoma, Washington, and Buffalo and Schenectady, New York. Mr. Saccone is the firm’s lead trial attorney. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and he has served on the AILA Upstate New York Chapter ICE and EOIR liaison committees. Mr. Saccone is admitted to practice law in the State of California. Mr. Saccone has practiced U.S. immigration law exclusively for 30 years.
