He has particular expertise in global legal strategy and coordination, domestic and international business litigation, asset recovery, contracts, investigations and alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. Track Record (representative cases and results): Lake Holding & Finance S.A. v. Mikhail Belyak, et al (2019-035235-CA-01 (CBL 44) (Miami-Dade Circuit Court 2019-2021): enforcement of Moscow Court Judgments for $36 million, followed by fraudulent transfer claims against debtor’s wife and daughter and certain Florida LLCs, resulting in satisfaction of judgment; also won related Section 1782 discovery application in SDNY District Court (Case No. 20-mc-652) and obtained disclosures from 5 banks in aid of related proceedings in Cyprus, Monaco and Russia. Chigirinskiy v. Panchenkova (Dkt No 14-4410, SDNY District Court 2014-2018); represented Russian businessman Shalva Chigirinskiy and obtained settlement in $100M commercial litigation after 4 years; the case involved parallel commercial litigation proceedings in Connecticut state court, including defense against judgment enforcement; criminal indictments, which were dismissed, and contentious state court child custody proceedings. Dear Invest AB v. Brent Borland (SDNY District Court 2018): obtained $1M judgment against debtor for breach of promissory notes. Sardarov and Black Ocean v.
