Kristen Benson

After working at Smith, Sovik, Kendrick & Sugnet, P.C., as a summer clerk, Kristen joined the firm as an Associate in April 2001. She became Partner in January 2010. Kristen is a trial lawyer and appellate advocate involved in all areas of litigation. She spends most of her time defending matters ranging from automobile, trucking and premises liability to commercial, construction, Labor Law, products liability, professional negligence, medical malpractice, labor and employment, employment discrimination, environmental and toxic tort, and workers’ compensation claims, among other liability matters. Kristen has tried numerous cases to verdict with an excellent record of success.Specialties: All areas of litigation, including mediation, negotiation, arbitration, appellate advocacy and trial work before State and Federal Courts and administrative agencies.
