Jeffrey Kohn

Jeff has represented clients in a broad range of employment and labor law disputes and serves as a strategic advisor on labor-management relations, including collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, and NLRB matters. Jeff has had an active employment litigation practice, including employment discrimination, employment contract, wage and hour, executive compensation, and trade secret litigation. He also has substantial experience as a strategic advisor for clients who need to restructure their operations or reorganize in bankruptcy. Jeff served as Managing Partner of O'Melveny's New York office from 2010 to 2020 and as the firm's Regional Head of Litigation. While remaining with O'Melveny as Of Counsel, in March 2023 Jeff became a Professor of Practice in Business and Finance Law for George Washington University Law School. He will continue teaching for the Law School in the GW Law in New York program and will expand his teaching responsibilities in DC where he will be teaching Employment Law in the Fall and Spring of the 2023-2024 academic year.
