About Eduardo Blount

I lead a multidisciplinary team of attorneys and social workers, overseeing workflow, grant management, and quality assurance to deliver high-impact Social Security disability representation for unhoused individuals. My work sits at the intersection of law, policy, and systems change—bringing frontline insight to legal advocacy, rulemaking, and public dialogue. I approach this work through a legal lens grounded in public service and informed by expertise in public policy and public administration. My policy and management perspective draws on nonprofit and private practice managing complex workers’ compensation and Social Security disability cases in hearings and appeals, supervising teams, and strengthening quality frameworks, as well as foundational experience at the Social Security Administration in management, public relations, and legislative affairs. Supported by an M.P.A., I bring strengths in policy analysis, program management, data-informed decision-making, and systems improvement. Beyond direct service and administration, I served as Board Member and later Board President of a legal services nonprofit, guiding strategic planning, budgeting, and governance and deepening my experience in executive oversight and mission-aligned leadership. I am driven to align policy, organizational leadership, and service delivery systems to achieve measurable public impact and to advance strategic initiatives that expand equitable access to justice at scale.
