Kari Fonte

Kari Ann Fonte (formerly Woodward), graduated from Florida State University College of Law, cum laude (with honors). Ms. Fonte has practiced exclusively in immigration law since 1995, and became partner in the firm Montiel Davis & Fonte in Miami, Florida. The firm is now known as Fonte Friz-Garcia Immigration Firm, of which she is Sr. Partner, and the firm continues to handle all aspects of immigration law with offices in Coral Gables and Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Ms. Fonte has practiced exclusively in immigration law since 1995. She is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law and served on the Board Certification Committee for many years. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since she was a law student. Ms. Fonte has served on the Board of the South Florida Chapter of AILA since 2005, and served as the Chapter’s President. Ms. Fonte also enjoys “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell (Legal Ability: very high prominent, and ethical standards: very high). She has spoken at national and local seminars on various immigration topics, and is fluent in Spanish.
