About Rook Ringer
Florida native Rook Ringer is a highly accomplished appellate lawyer known for her exceptional skill in writing appeal briefs and motions. Her talent has earned her numerous awards and recognition from her peers. Before attending law school, Rook served as a military intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army and later worked as a private investigator. While earning her law degree, Rook honed her ability to craft compelling and persuasive legal arguments by working for various law firms and assisting in numerous criminal trials. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Forensic Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University and earned her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she received a full academic scholarship. Rook has authored briefs and motions for multiple appellate courts, including the Florida Supreme Court and the New Jersey Supreme Court. In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar, she is licensed to practice federal law in several United States District Courts, the Eleventh and Fifth United States Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. The National Trial Lawyers named Rook one of the Top 10 Civil Rights Trial Lawyers in Florida, highlighting her superior qualifications, leadership skills, and successful trial results. She has also been recognized as one of the Top 10 Women’s Rights Trial Lawyers and one of the Top 25 National Women Trial Lawyers. Rook is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the National Trial Lawyers Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the National Police Accountability Project. Additionally, she serves on the board of the National Trans Bar Association and is a member of the National LGBT Bar Association. Beyond her professional commitments, Rook is involved with Jewish War Veterans, is a life member of Hadassah and Disabled American Veterans, and is a member of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism. Rook speaks German and Hebrew and holds a master’s degree in Classical and Ancient History from American Military University. In her free time, she enjoys riding motorcycles, attending her synagogue, and spending time at the beach with her family.
