About Theresa Daniels
Theresa A. Daniels is a native of Lee County, Florida, as are her parents and grandparents. She graduated with honors from Barry University School of Law. While she was a law student, she worked as a Senior Editor for the prestigious Barry Law Review and served as an Executive Board Member of the Barry Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Daniels was a member of the Student Trial Advocacy Team and a Certified Legal Intern who represented juvenile defendants in the Children and Families Clinical program at Barry University. Before earning her law degree, she founded and was the President of Disability Advocates, Inc., representing the disabled obtain Social Security disability benefits. She was an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Kelley Kronenberg and at the law firm of Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A. She founded Daniels Law in February 2011 and now focuses on helping those who are going through emotional times in their lives because of divorce, child custody issues, or domestic violence. She advises clients of their options and provides personalized representation through these often difficult and stressful situations. Ms. Daniels's practice also encompasses step-parent adoptions and name changes. Ms. Daniels is very active in her local legal and professional community. She has served on the executive board of Lee County Legal Aid Society, as Membership Co-Chair of the Lee County Bar Association, and as President of the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers. She presently serves as Treasurer of the Family Resource Center of Southwest Florida, Inc. Ms. Daniels is passionate about causes which benefit children and those that empower women to change their lives for the better.
