Exploring and supporting brands that champion my interests allows me to feel in tune with my world.Throughout my life, I have made sure to seek/ eke out the best education available to stay competitive and “collect all the weapons” before it's time to compete.When I "Get off Work," I am the target customer of the brands I work for.I describe my career as a relentless campaign that forged my character and allowed me to offer my clients the best.I was fortunate enough to be forced to start from the bottom with no escape, learn from the hardest workers and ruthless strategists at top-performing brands, and gain work experience while traveling the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Central, and South America.My work career and job training began at age 8, when I had the opportunity to load semis for a local greenhouse grower in Lansing, Michigan. Over the next 15 years, I worked my way through some of the most unpleasant manual labor jobs... Washing dishes to digging ditches to Demolition of HUD houses... Those years taught me a valuable lesson... I didn’t want a career in manual labor. That realization became my driving force, motivating me to pursue the best education and experiences possible.By my early twenties, I had wiggled my way into an internship and employment at MTV Networks.After leaving the digital group at VIACOM/MTV Networks, I found myself searching for a job during a recession and realized my best option was to take a chance on a startup.I built a startup from zero dollars, traveling solo across the United States for more than five years. I provided OEM dealerships and lifestyle-brand retailers with a service and platform to sell their inventory online, while also offering complimentary digital consulting. I charged only a commission for sold products and threw in digital consulting information to sweeten the deal. I sold on every platform you may know of and built my own e-commerce site.Through never-ending work, I built the company from an idea to a 7-figure business. Unfortunately, after 5 years, the OEMs were then restructured by major financial institutions, and all their online sales were brought in-house. I lost everything I had built over a decade overnight... Thud...I contacted an attorney to get advice on my business, and he offered me a job. I took the long way, and it has allowed me to bring a greater perspective and diverse business experience to others.
