About Craig Stein
Craig is an experienced civil trial lawyer who has focused his efforts on commercial disputes with years of experience in jury trials, arbitration, and mediation. Craig's background in business and finance give's him the ability to focus on the economic issues that drive so much of commercial litigation. Craig's clients have ranged from individuals, small businesses, to Fortune 500 companies. In one case Craig engaged in "scorched earth" litigation with the "Church of Scientology" eventually forcing Scientology to pay nearly $9 million dollars to his client in connection with a then 22 year old civil judgment. This was one of the only times that Scientology was forced to pay the damages that were awarded against it following a jury trial. Craig has been nominated as the Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Public Justice Foundation, and has been selected as a "Top Southern California Lawyer" by the annual Los Angeles Times survey.
