About Philip Lee

I have been practicing law and specializing in finance and securities matters for many years. I have acted as bond counsel, bank counsel, bond insurer’s counsel, investment bank and underwriters' counsel, developer’s counsel and disclosure counsel for various entities with respect to a broad range of public finance and project finance transactions. My legal practice has also included general corporate work and I worked early in my career for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in the Department of Corporation Finance and the Office of the General Counsel has continued to aid me in assisting my clients with highly complex financing structures and issues. I represented a foreign credit rating company with respect to its Application for Registration as a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization (NRSRO) and with respect to administrative proceedings before the SEC. Most recently I worked for the past 6 years as the General Counsel for a large not-for-profit which entailed being responsible for legal affairs for the entire enterprise which included, Construction (Internal and Third-Party Contracts), Corporate Affairs, Property Development, Property Management an social services. As GC I was the legal advisor to the board of directors, the chairman of the board and chief executive officer, the president, chief operating officer, and other senior executives of National Community Renaissance, including any and all affiliated entities. Also, as GC I had the responsible and obligation to identify, develop, communicate, and monitor policies that ensured compliance with law by the entire enterprise referenced herein as National CORE. The GC has the responsibility for assuring the availability, continuity and quality of competent, timely, and cost-efficient legal services throughout the organization
