About Mark Derzon
Dr. Derzon retired after 30+ years at Sandia NAtional Laboratories before starting GSTND. Dr. Mark Derzon obtained Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley in 1987. His major field of study was Fusion Technology and his minor was in the Environmental Aspects of Energy production. He obtained a Bachelor of Science as well. His Bachelors degree in Nuclear Engineering was obtained at the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1980. Over the years his he has been honored to work in the fields of radiation sources and pulsed power, radiation detection, microelectronics, plasma science, microelectronics and interestingly biotechnology. He really enjoys putting together multidisciplinary teams and working on complex problems.
