Michael A. Hackard has practiced law for 50 years. His practice is currently focused on Estates and Trusts Litigation. Past practice focus has included Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation, and representation of clients before federal, state and local legislative and administrative bodies. His appearances include testimony before the United States House Ways & Means Committee on behalf of a national commercial real estate organization as well as an important Food and Drug Administration Committee addressing the withdrawal of a dangerous drug.A native of Sacramento, CA, Mr. Hackard has litigated in state and federal trial and appellate courts. His media experiences include national television interviews (C-SPAN, Fox News - Neil Cavuto), regular regional television interviews and both national (The Wall Street Journal) and local newspaper stories.Mr. Hackard's practice is rooted in professional excellence, an ethic of service and strategic vision, and a commitment to his clients.As a graduate of the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, Mr. Hackard remains committed to the study of law and its applications in business.
