Maurice went to law school while he was a deputy sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Before that Maurice was a police officer in the state of Utah and worked for a state police enforcement bureau as a k-9 officer. Maurice has been an attorney since 1997. He has been practicing in the area of tax, business law and estate planning since that time. Maurice is the lead attorney for Minuteman Taxpayer Advocates Inc.www.minutemantax.com which is based out of Santa Clarita California but provides services nationwide. Minuteman Taxpayer Advocates provides tax preparation services for several thousand law enforcement officers. Thus the name "Minuteman" which is symbolic of modern day law enforcement officers who are today's citizen warriors. In addition Minuteman Taxpayer Advocates provides services to many businesses and individuals of all kinds of backgrounds and interests. Minuteman also provides tax problem resolution services nationwide including tax litigation, lien and levy issues, tax audits, offer in compromise, back taxes etc..
