I help clients navigate estate planning, tax, and probate from Houston, Texas. The goal is simple: leave No Unfinished Business.I am a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and dual board certified in Tax Law and Estate Planning and Probate Law in Texas (one of a small group to hold both). A lot of what passes for “advanced planning” is not. It is overcomplicated, poorly explained, or just wrong. My job is to give clients clear answers and build plans that actually work when their family needs them.I also spend a lot of time helping clients and their advisors unwind bad advice before it becomes an expensive problem.Before practicing law, I worked in management at the Four Seasons Hotel. That experience shapes how my firm operates today. We are intentional about communication, process, and client experience. Good legal work is expected. How that work is delivered is what sets us apart.I host the Five Star Counsel® podcast, where I explore what a law firm would look like if it were built with the service standards of companies like Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, and Disney.
