Todd Jackson

I am an employment, class action, and PAGA mediator and litigator. As a mediator at Jackson Resolutions, my 10 years of mediation experience are anchored by 25 years as a leader of complex litigation, including leading teams in multiple trials of class action cases. My experience in class actions, individual cases, PAGA, ERISA, wage and hour litigation, and discrimination litigation gives me the perspective and expertise to help parties assess the risks of ongoing litigation and find paths to settlement. As a mediator, I focus on clear communication, creativity, and trust. At Feinberg, Jackson, Worthman and Wasow, I litigate class action cases involving overtime pay, pension benefits, and employment discrimination, including successfully trying class actions to verdict. Highlights: In my 25 years of complex employment practice, I have litigated and tried cases in federal and state courts throughout the United States, including successfully leading trial teams all over the country. In 10 years of serving as a mediator, I have mediated cases across the employment law spectrum, from individual compensation cases to ERISA disputes; from individual discrimination cases to wage and hour class or collective actions. I have deep expertise in employment law: I have taught Employment Law and ERISA law at Berkeley Law at the University of California at Berkeley. I am an editor and author on multiple publications, including BNA's Employee Benefits Law and The Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as authoring a chapter on wage and hour mediation in CEB's California Wage and Hour Law: Law and Litigation Practice Guide. I have served as the co-chair of the ABA's Employee Benefits Committee. I am a frequent speaker at legal conferences on mediation, employee benefits law, and wage and hour law. I have been named a Northern California's Super Lawyer every year since 2009. Before I was a lawyer, I was a high school teacher.
