I lead legal for Product & Technology, focused on decision enablement at enterprise scale—across AI, data, privacy, and platforms—where business, technical, and regulatory considerations intersect.My role is to clarify the decision, size the risk, and ensure work moves forward with clarity and discipline.In practice, this means framing the issue, defining boundaries, and setting guardrails and escalation points so teams can move without rework.I work closely with Compliance, Product, and Technology leadership to ensure governance reflects how systems actually operate. The goal is not to add process, but to make decisions consistent, predictable, and scalable—particularly in areas like AI deployment, data strategy, and platform governance.I’m most often involved in situations that require judgment under pressure, clear direction in ambiguity, and decisions with real operational impact.My background includes leading high-stakes IP and ITC matters, as well as regulatory investigations, where litigation exposure and regulatory constraints directly affected business continuity and required decisive, time-sensitive judgment.That experience shapes how I approach product and AI risk: proportional analysis, clear boundaries, and decisions that hold over time.I engage early—at design and prioritization—rather than at the end. I’m comfortable making calls and holding the line when precedent or risk matters.Previously, I served as SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at VIZIO, including the company’s IPO and its acquisition by Walmart.This model works best when teams are empowered to take ownership, make decisions with incomplete information, and move issues forward with sound judgment.
