About Erik McLain
As a Litigation Attorney, I have over 23 years of experience in State and Federal Courts. My practice includes 100% Litigation with a focus on matters involving Employment Litigation; General Liability; and Trial Practice. I am responsible for trials, including jury trials, bench trials, mediations, alternative dispute reolution, as well as arbitrations. I have personally conducted jury trials with amounts in controversy in excess of $25 million. I also have experience defending employers, directors, and officers in wage and hour litigation, discrimination claims, derivative actions, and director/officer liability matters. In addition to my California state law practice, I have extensive federal litigation experience, including federal jury trials, law and motion, summary judgment, and other proceedings governed by the Rules of Civil Procedure. In my freetime, I enjoy spending time with my family,, coaching youth baseball, and am an avid fisherman.
