I help clients solve problems and avoid costly legal disputes. For nearly 30 years I have assisted employers as they navigate complex laws and regulations, and help them to make informed, strategic decisions. My approach is focused on minimizing risk, avoiding disruption, and resolving issues efficiently and pro-actively. When litigation or other dispute resolution forums cannot be avoided, I represent clients at every stage - from early strategy through the litigation process, trial, and appeal. In addition to the construction industry, my clients include employers in a wide variety of business sectors, including banking, accounting, healthcare, insurance, hospitality, technology, and non-profit. I am certified as both a mediator and as an arbitrator and can offer cost-effective and often faster resolution of disputes outside of the courtroom. I also speak and publish regularly on new developments and trends in the law and am actively involved with a number of trade and business organizations in their legal and legislative advocacy functions.
