Extensive criminal law trial experience, both as a prosecutor and defense attorney. Served over 20 years in the US Marine Corps, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Supervised all Marine defense counsel in the West half of the United States and oversaw the defense of the biggest and most high profile military court cases since the Vietnam War. Has handled all types of cases as a prosecutor and defense counsel to include war crimes, murder, bank fraud, rape, assault and many others. Defended a foreign detainee accused of terrorism charges at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
