About Ron Mercaldo
Ron Mercaldo has tried over 100 jury trials to a verdict. Twelve times juries have returned verdicts in favor of his clients of over $1,000,000, including four verdicts over $5,000,000. He is a certified specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation and has served as a member of the State of Arizona’s certifying commission for over 15 years. Ron has been chairman of the State Bar Committee on Professionalism and Peer Review, the Jury Instruction Committee and has served on the Judicial Selection Commission. Ron has been president of the Tucson chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Inns of Court. In 1999, Ron was named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is regularly named as one of America’s Best Lawyers and a Southwest Super Lawyer. On several occasions Ron has been named to the Law Dragon list of the leading 500 lawyers in America. He is an AV rated lawyer in Martindale-Hubble and is listed in the bar registry of Preeminent Lawyers. He speaks frequently at Continuing Legal Education seminars. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona Law School and has been precticing law since 1972.
