About Will Clark

I grew up in Beaumont, Texas, where civil trial lawyers were royalty. In my hometown, anybody who was anybody was a trial lawyer. These weren’t just attorneys, they were legends who took on Big Tobacco and won billion-dollar verdicts. My mother was an Assistant District Attorney. Her case files spread across our kitchen table became my earliest memory of what practicing law looked like. From age six, everyone said, “You should be a lawyer.” I never wanted to be anything else.Every choice was calculated to get me here. Mock trial in high school, which earned me a letter jacket with a gavel instead of a football. UT for undergrad to get into UT Law. This wasn’t a career choice. It was destiny. My first real job out of law school was in Laredo. I lived in an extended-stay motel, took depositions in wrongful death cases, grilled industry executives, and learned to swim by being thrown in the deep end. That’s where I discovered what this work actually is: finding the truth, and turning it into justice for people who had been wronged. One case still sits with me. A gravel company worker, a husband, a father, was hit and killed by a cement truck while walking across the company yard before dawn. He wasn’t wearing his high-visibility vest, so the company accepted no responsibility. I discovered the vests were stored on the opposite side of the yard from the parking lot. He had no choice but to walk through the dark to reach them. Without that digging, the family would have gotten nothing, and a husband would have died for nothing.Three years later, I was ready to build my own firm. I partnered up in San Antonio. We grew from nothing to sixteen employees, won multiple Top-100 six- and seven-figure jury verdicts, and started getting calls from other lawyers referring their toughest and biggest cases, the ultimate validation. But partnerships can fracture. In 2024, after nearly nine years, we parted ways.Today I lead The Injury Law Guides, where I’ve returned to what drew me to this profession in the first place: being the guide who leads people through dangerous, unfamiliar territory to justice and healing. We don’t just file paperwork. We walk the trail with our clients, from the worst moment of their lives to something that resembles solid ground they can stand tall on again. My practice is built on attorney referrals. If you have a serious injury or wrongful death case that needs a trial lawyer, I’d welcome the call.
