About Danielle Ochsc
I am an equity shareholder in the San Francisco office of Ogletree Deakins. I serve as Co-Chair Emeritus of the firm’s Technology Practice Group and focus on matters arising in the TECHPLACE. I have 30 years of experience representing an array of “tech” employers, as well as employers in a range of other local, national, and international industries, including higher education. In the last six years, I've focused on artificial intelligence (AI) governance and the responsible use of AI in the workplace, including the use of automated employment decision tools (AEDTs), AI-transcription technology, HR chatbots, AI agents and the use of other emerging technologies in the workplace. I regularly speak across the country and blogs on a range of employment and employment-based technology issues. In addition to my focus on emerging technology in the workplace, my experience includes successfully defending employers in both jury and bench trials and in arbitration proceedings in the areas of employment law, trade secrets and unfair competition, and technology in the workplace. I work closely with clients to develop effective strategies for litigating and resolving legal actions, approaching each case zealously and strategically with a steadfast commitment to client service.
