I am an Associate General Counsel at Cinemark, where I advise business leaders on a wide range of legal, operational, and strategic matters in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. I serve as a trusted advisor to the business, bringing a forward-looking perspective that helps leadership anticipate risk, navigate complexity, and make informed decisions that support long-term success.My approach is grounded in providing clear, pragmatic guidance that aligns risk assessment with business objectives. I partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify emerging risks, evaluate legal exposure, and develop practical solutions that enable the business to move forward with confidence while protecting enterprise value.I bring more than a decade of experience managing litigation matters. I have handled multimillion-dollar disputes as well as high-volume, routine matters, often resolving issues efficiently through direct engagement with opposing counsel. I manage litigation strategy with an emphasis on anticipating outcomes, aligning legal approach with business priorities, and maintaining cost discipline and consistency.In addition to dispute management, my practice includes advising on employment and commercial litigation, reviewing and managing all commercial contracting and contracts lifecycle management, managing intellectual property and trademarks, overseeing business immigration matters, and supporting compliance and internal investigations. I also advise on emerging areas such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, and have contributed to mergers and acquisitions in numerous roles.I am focused on building scalable legal processes and infrastructure that promote consistency, efficiency, and proactive risk management.I also bring executive leadership experience as Past President of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, where I led a statewide board to deliver new initiatives focused on access to justice, pipeline development, and engagement with legal and civic leaders across Texas.As I continue to grow in my role, I am focused on expanding my impact at the enterprise level—serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and helping shape a legal function that is proactive, business-oriented, and aligned with long-term objectives.
